Butterfly of the Year

A big environmental organization in Germany regularly proclaims a „butterfly of the year“, and the silver-washed fritillary is the one of 2022. 

This one is a male, and another rare guest on our Buddleja bush, which has been full of surprises this year. But I promise to stop blipping butterflies tomorrow. The cats are getting jealous.
