Duck with ducklings

Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland

The rose gardens were in full bloom, the cascade was flowing and there were towering blue delphiniums in the highest walled garden.  The duck with ducklings, which were pretending to be sparrows picking up crumbs at people's feet in the cafe, proved irresistibly cute.

Made the last tour of the poison garden - lots of things to avoid touching, eating or smelling!
