Saw a notice on Facebook yesterday from a sixth former (He) who was looking for some casual outside work. He turned up at 9 and I sorted him out clearing all the soil from under the new fence ready to replace with pea gravel.
I then headed off to Textiles and Cells - more heat printing but with different textures. Also got our Shibori back from last week (blipped) . Love it but not quite sure what to do with it!
St t credit whilst I was there and offered me a large plant for the garden. I said yes of course. Went for coffee with Ju after the course. When I got home saw H from next door and her builder so spent ages talking to her about their new extension to the loft extension. At home He told me a man had called and was coming back. St turned up 30 mins later with the plant so of course I gave him coffee. He and I headed off for the pea gravel whilst St cleared a space for the new plant, but when we got back he was breathless so I ended up taking all the turf up. We also planted the eucalyptus J bought me for my birthday last year! And did some weeding around the new hedge.
A busy day but not the one I had planned! Never mind- good to get something planted. Plumber didn’t phone as arranged though. Probably just as well as one of the planned jobs was to remove the wallpaper ready for him to fit the loo and washbasin!
