Of friendship with The Loveland … I actually hung around with her older sister when we first moved to Stratford… but J went off to Uni and Loveland and I started going to the pub together, the 80s were the absolute best for getting served alcohol under age …
As they only lived two streets away I used to go bother her parents quite a lot too … sadly Pam died 3 years ago and she is missed so very very much .
Clive threw javelin for G.B … he was in the commonwealth games 1958 …he’s almost 88 but I think he looks much much younger .
We were discussing today how when he competed in Russia they had body guards who were also spying on them to make sure they didn’t say anything against the Russian government.
He also competed in Hungary and that was the same experience.
My father just told me that I never keep my gob shut … to be fair … he’s not wrong. ;-))
