Beauty in the eye of the beholder!

I answered a Facebook freebie on a pottery site yesterday and today Mr W drove to Peckham and collected a boot load of old clay for me. Hes a keeper you know!

Most of it needs rehydrating, wedging and reclaiming but I'm ok with that. There's 100's of £'s worth!!!

Apparently mouldy clay is good! It makes the clay more elastic and easier to work with. Just scrape the top off, wedge it up and you are good to go. The kiln is like a magic wand on the mould!

My hands will never be the same again from now on!!!
