A Stroll In The Country

This morning we went on a guided group walk from the hills / mountains above Skopelos Town down to the beach at Panormos.

We were dropped at a vineyard near Pyrgos for a brief tour (no samples unfortunately but it was only 9.30!) then walked steadily downhill for 5k, arriving at the beach in time for some lunch and some R&R with a book for a couple of hours.

The main blip gives a glimpse of Paranormos through the olive groves, with a clearer view in extras plus one taken near the start with the island of Evia in the hazy distance. 5k was enough, despite the pleasant breeze - and 8 wouldn’t want to do it uphill!
