On my allotment

I planted a rose a couple of years ago.  It seems very happy and flowers profusely. For some reason this one is growing downwards.
I was there in the morning, mainly to water, as it hasn’t rained for a while. It’s me7 slugs2 so far in the courgettes surviving/being eaten battle. Not so bad I suppose. 
Oxfam shop in the afternoon - was lovely to be there.  We were low on staff and volunteers (covid) - it was just the manager and me, but we got lots done and took nearly £800 which is fantastic for a weekday
