At the health centre

In the afternoon I worked on my allotment. A friend came down with some paving slabs he was giving me to make the base for a shed. We sat in the sunshine for a couple of hours chatting and catching up. In particular we both felt happy that the Liar had resigned, although he is still clinging on in a very Trumpian style. In his resignation speech he showed not the tiniest atom of remorse or contrition; he clearly feels the MPs who have told him he should leave are deluded and wrong.
