H arrived this morning to paint the side gate. Only took him a couple of hours. He didn’t want to paint the other three trellises- think they’re too fiddly for him!
I made a start on converting most of the guest bedroom wardrobes to cupboards, and sorting out everything that needs to go in them . Lots more to do though . Kept being distracted by radio 4 and the Downing Street business though.
Watched Boris’ speech on BBC and then went into town for the last meeting of the craft group this summer. It looks like we may get a tutor for the autumn so I will persevere with it a little longer. A fewofus went to the chocolate shop for hot chocolate/coffee and a chocolate afterwards. Lots of choice
Went to Lidl in the evening for bargain hydrangeas. Must get them planted in the next few days
