The Alps

Today we did a slightly longer walk around Villar. Starting off with a cable car ride up from Le Barbaleuse we arrived quite high up. We then continued to go to the top of the mountain to le croix le chaux. It was once we had been climbing for a while and had reached the top that we realised we had gone the wrong way to get to a small village called Tavyanne, so we descended and eventually arrive for a cooling drink in a the restaurant. We then headed back up the mountain to the Col de la Croix and then finally over the Bretaye where we then got the train down to Villar. It was a little cloudy today which was a very cool welcome from the hot sun. Another great day.
