Pond Life

I was intrigued watching this tiny white spider at the top of a lilly pad in the pond (see extra).  It was fearlessly sitting there in plain view and warding off dragonflies like this when they got too close.

I think it might be a crab spider that sits and waits for insects to land close and then catches them with it's two useful front legs.  More information here.
