On the canal

Did a pilates session off the internet then decided today was the day to paint my front door. I bought all the paint etc about 3 weeks ago and its been my top job to do. It looks fabulous but don't look too closely as there a couple of places where I missed painting the 2nd coat!
I took Mel to the station as she's having a lovely night out with her best friend so I parked up and had a walk by the canal. I didn't walk far but saw 7 boats going past which is a record. I usually don't see any! don't know why its so busy. Saw Mr heron sat on the tree stump he looked like a statue just occasionally moving his head.
