Dinnet:Done it
Our breakfast this morning was more modest but still substantial and very tasty. We then checked out and made our way to Muir of Dinnet National Nature Reserve.
Our pirme reason for going there was to visit the Burn o Vat which is worth visit - you walk through a narrow opening to reach what feels like a cauldron and a waterfall.
It was well worth visiting as was the rest of nature reserve - we combined various trails to circumvent Loch Kinord with detours to see peat bogs, remains of iron age huts, a Pictish stone and saw lots of butterflies and an occassional dragonfly.
We are now back home after a great mini-break but tired after all our walking - we've racked up 23 miles over the past few days, the most we've done for a while.
Have a lovely weekend all.
