It’s been an upstairs/downstairs day . . . more times than I could count. By the end I felt as if I’d climbed the equivalent of Helvellyn.

The patient has been brighter today and out of bed for a while but not downstairs. I lent him my iPad to watch Cameron Norrie in the Wimbledon semi final.

When he put in a request for some food items which needed a walk to the shops I was happy to go and look for a blip while out.
