Another tip

I think Google is trying to change my life. I keep getting messages about how to clean different parts of my home, or how to get whiter whites and brighter colours. How do they decide what advice they should try to give.

Maybe they see me as a possible convert. I admit, I  tried bicarbonate of soda to get marks off the drum of my washer (it worked). I bought some soda crystals for sinks but haven’t tried it yet.

Recently, I’ve been sent more and more gardening things, ranging from scaring me that I might have an illegal plant or telling me what I really ought to buy.

I read one Google generated item about supermarket herbs. I do buy these from time to time and, yes, they do die off before I’ve used all the parsley or whatever it is.

The article explained that the cheap supermarket herbs are just unthinned out seedlings and suggested that you take them out of the temporary pot, split them up, replant and see what happens.

I tried it with basil when I needed some for pesto. Two are going strong, and I had more than enough basil for my recipe.

Todays blip is of one repotted bit of a Lidl 69p coriander. I live in hope……..
