Dear O'H dear & Lovely Tea Jenny,

We went on the hop-on hop-off bus today, followed by a canal tour and a wander round the city to get back to the hotel. Nothing says tourists like the group of people being guided by the person at the front with the destination plugged into Google maps.

It was a hot sunny day so the Prince and I went for a cheeky afternoon beer while the girls went to chill for a couple of hours before dinner. We were sitting outside at a bar and we had a great time watching people watching. I think stoned people are even funnier than drunk people. A very wasted guy took his shoes off and wet his feet in a fountain before walking up and down staring intently at them!

The four of us went for dinner to an Italian (That’s Amore) near the hotel for pizza. The Youngest Mini Princess was happy to call
it a night at 9:30 (because Love Island) but The Prince, The Eldest Mini Princess and I went to our local for a couple of drinks. After spotting people doing one of the boozy canal tours, The Prince was telling us he quite fancies being a canal boat driver. Not sure what I’d be doing while he lived out his Captain Pugwash fantasy but who am I to quash his dreams!
