River of Flowers

Saturday: Achau = Geneaology

It’s been a very hot day - temperature around 20°C.
I took a big bowl of washing up water out for the lilac tree this morning, as I’ve done for the last few days - the shortage of rain has made all its leaves shrivel up :-((
Noticed there are hardly any bees or other insects around - saw one white butterfly this morning, this is very strange when buddleia are flowering, can it get too dry for the insects? I have saucers of water everywhere, which the birds use.
Worked on my family tree this morning - noticed a massive error from a suggestion from USA, they hadn’t put dates on their relatives but my 4 x great grandparents were born around 1760s, the suggested parents for one of them had married in 1590 - they had the dates on an Anglesey family tree which they had included a copy of!
Blip of my genealogy book, which has taken a lot of effort to get to grips with!
Happy Weekend everyone xxxx xxx xx
Stay safe & healthy & happy everyone :-)
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
