White roses

Alnwick Gardens, Northumberland 

Stopped in for another look at the roses on the way north and ended up spending hours enjoying the sunshine. 

Worrying reports about delays on the A1 and the Edinburgh bypass led to a back road route with a pause in Melrose for an evening wander on the way.
