Sunny saturday

It’s been a lovely day. My mother in law was due to join us for lunch today so I popped out early to buy lunch .. some nice treaty seafood and local strawberries. Having done that I did a little prep then she rang to say she didn’t feel up to the journey. What a shame.. but when your 96 it is perfectly understandable. We had a lovely day and really made the most of having a surprise free day. There was cricket being played on the beach today and with wall to wall sunshine it was definitely the day for an ice cream !
