Sunday

Broken sleep last night.. lots of dreams.. must have been too warm I think. 
It was lovely to see my sister yesterday she arrived in time for supper and in some sunshine so we had a drink and brought supper out into the garden.. within a few moments the rain started but it was very stuffy indoors so we chose to stay out in the rain! Umbrella each we had a very jolly and memorable time as the rain grew heavier and heavier!!  Eventually we gave up and came inside.. the person with the smallest umbrella was very wet so went in for a shower and a warm up.. all good fun. Strawbs indoors afterwards!
I love an egg on a sunday and today it has ended up as my blip.. loved the simplicity of it against the whirlwind of a plate! 
A quiet morning nattering and making plans before heading out to a lunch party with fruit salad to add to the bring along. What a lucky day with only a very brief shower and then dry.  Lots of lovely people and delicious lunch and birthday cake and candles with lots of singing.. then home for some evening tennis from Wimbledon.. Perfect summer day!
