Equality

I think I now have two legs of just about equal length. For 16 months I have been hobbling around in great discomfort, putting my body under all sorts of unnatural stresses.

Now I shall have to learn how to walk again, which I must say I am looking forward to.

Being in hospital gives one an excellent opportunity to practise one’s Spanish. After all, you never know when phrases like “please empty my urine bottle” and “may I have the elevated lavatory seat” will come in handy!
