Westway to the World.

I am back in that bloody London again. It's warm, it's sunny, and here for your pleasure is the serene interstice where the M4 Westway inserts itself into Paddington at the Little Venice end of the Grand Union Canal.

Two of my favourite blippers are schu and wmud whose photos of industrial, post-industrial, and sometimes seemingly post-apocalyptic urban scenes capture beauty and despair in equal measure. While I was taking this picture I was thinking of what either of them might have made of this shot.
