Turtlehead Pond
Also known as Marshfield Pond, this one is remote! You have to drive down a one lane railroad bed and pray you don't meet another car to get there. Only a few camps on the pond with no running water or electricity, so its a pretty good bet you won't meet anyone on the road.
When I arrived I was surprised to find two people painting, so the parking for the launch was full. :-)
The marshy portion of the pond has many endangered plants and frogs, lots and lots of frogs and giant tadpoles (extra).
