Thistle (and a purple rainbow)

Had a pretty lazy day.   We moved our window boxes in the morning, and watered them well, ahead of the hot sun later on.  I gave my Mum a call in the afternoon, and wrapped Tim's birthday presents, too.  I made us a massive tuna nicoise salad for dinner, then got out for a nice walk in the evening while Tim watched the F1 qualifying.  The heath was feeling very summery, and there was so much new life at the pond!  So many ducklings.  Can't decide if it's good or bad that my camera battery died before I got there!  (Probably a good thing - I know I'd have taken far too many photos.)
