Sunlower!

I planted some sunflower seeds around a month ago, and had pretty much given up hope of any of them germinating, so was surprised to see this strong-looking little seedling when I looked out the window the other day.  We moved it back to the window box yesterday and gave it a good watering to hopefully give it the best chance possible.

Tim's birthday today.  We had a lovely day doing exactly what he fancied - which was basically nothing :)  It fit very well with the weather, as it was too hot to do anything anyway.  He was very happy with all the (not particularly exciting) presents I'd bought him, and I treated us to a takeaway from our favourite Indian restaurant too (the first since pre-pandemic).  It was So good!  Massive too, so we get to enjoy it again tomorrow.  This evening we watched the film Hancock, which was surprisingly entertaining (a superhero-with-a-twist type thing).
