A new outlook

The Yoga Mama is moving in next door in a few weeks time so we had a nose ‘round the empty flat with her today and sat for a while in the communal lounge with some of the other apartment owners. This is the view from the balcony outside her flat, with gardens below; in the distance on the left you can see a white house which is where we live. 

As well as The Yoga Mama we had The Dizzle and Ms R over, a neighbour (who made vegan lemon drizzle cakes for us), and an old friend from north London who stayed the whole afternoon. TSM mostly held court in the garden and tried not to overdo it as we have had another hot day with a heatwave that is set to last for a couple of weeks. I took a short walk into town for some essentials and wouldn’t have wanted to do more; it was exhausting.

TSM taking each day as it comes. Today was not too bad but things can literally change from hour to hour. Don’t ever underestimate the impact of a big operation. It leaves your body shaken to the core …
