lazy circles in the sky

We’re sitting in the ‘garden’ just staring up at the sky.  Into our view come, not 1 but 4 Red Kites.  They’re just hanging on the breeze making the sorts of shapes that Howard Keel sang about in Oklahoma!  (showing my age here).

Back-lit by the sun, the colours are amazing.  We watch for a while and by the time I decide to go and get my camera, they’ve gone.  So you just have to imagine them.  As I am now.
