He did it

Hubby up at six thirty and got one coat of dark paint on sills, then the second coat. Daughter and grandson have gone home as her partner tested negative. Sad to see them go but once I had sorted the spare room and the rest of the house it felt very quiet and actually quite nice.
Hubby has worked so hard to get the windows finished outside and has achieved it. We are heading north in the morning, so packed and hoping to get off early.
Coffee and a very quiet read in the garden.
Far too hot for me and Hetty.
