Eventful walk

Hetty was happy on her walk today as apart from crossing the main road it was all track or path. Except it was clear up day from the Tewksbury festival and very large vehicles were coming along the track at the start of the walk, and on the way back we had to wait for the toilets to leave the field as the noise made her very anxious. We walked along the river to visit Odda’s chapel and St. Mary’s Church, both very interesting places and so old. Met a nice lady and her daughter and we were chatting for ages.
Walked a bit further along the river and sat in a field for lunch.
Took a different path back and got to a field that had a herd of small bulls that were so interested in Hetty we didn’t go through and tried to find another path, once we walked away they all left the gate so we turned back and hurried through to the next gate before they spotted us. We did get wet but so warm we dried off before getting back to camper. Decided that it was so warm we would sit out and enjoy a G&T and read.
