It was cooler today so a pleasant temperature for walking especially when it clouded over.  There were numerous ringlet butterflies flying around and we found enough wild redcurrants in the hedges to make a very nice dessert and picked masses of wild gooseberries which are now in the freezer – none of them were anywhere near houses so are truly wild.
