Our Day

Two photos today. The first, we had a great lunch visit with granddaughter Elle, and boyfriend Trent. The second is a selfie I shot before a Zoom call today, and i set up at this spot. I was interviewed by two members of the official Grateful Dead podcast site. The subject was the Dead’s August 27, 1972 epic concert in Veneta, Oregon. This is the 50th anniversary of the show. This was our first show, I at 19, Tom, my date of the day, my wife for 49 years now, at 18. The fellows interviewed me for 30 minutes, and we laughed and shared excellent stories.
