2022 Monday — Cool Moisture

We’ve been surrounded in cool fog all day. It was a cushion of comfort, and we enjoyed it so.

And the back story, well — this was a lovely do-nothing Monday. I did cook breakfast and I did cook dinner; well Mr. Fun fired-up the barbecue as I sliced tomato, onions, and gathered condiments from the pantry and the frig. Dinner was delicious and filling and nourishing. We sat and talked and stared into the mist. Then I fed the pups.

I am supposed to walk 30 minutes every day, but I had not walked today,. So after my dinner had settled, I put harnesses & leashes on Chloe and Mitzi. Mr. Fun pulled on his sweatshirt, and we walked 10 minutes to the end of our street and back. Not a photo out there. Then . . . we walked up the stairs into our front room to see the sun illuminating the land beneath the fog, as that fireball makes its exit to tomorrow.
