Bothy

Bendronaig bothy lies 13k from the nearest road in the Attadale Estate, NW Highlands. Bothies are free, basic huts that allow access to the remotest Scottish mountains. Often they are long abandoned crofts that have been renovated. There are only a few that have electricity or running water. They are maintained by the Mountain Bothy Association, but this one is owned and run by the estate. They are a pleasure to stay in and you never know who you might meet - usually no-one.
