Moss

I like to take close ups of mountain flowers, it makes a change from the usual summit photographs.
I think this is Fountain Apple-moss (Philonotis Fontana), rather than the commoner sphagnum moss. It is a striking bright green. There were only a few tufts of it, by a stream, each with its own buttercups (I think)!
