Unexpected treat!

I went on an early visit to the local salt-marsh and loved watching this barn owl hunt across the marsh. The sea lavender is fully out and would have looked better if the sun was shining!. Still I had a lovely walk and was the only person there at 7am!
I also saw 15 curlews in a field with 5 hares. a beautiful sight.
