Loaded

Someone thanked Elbows last week by giving him a huge bunch of flowers for me. !?!

And this morning I noticed that the lilies were now all open and showing off their loaded stamens.

They always make me think of my little sister - on her wedding day, she had lilies in end-of-pew arrangements and no one had removed the stamens. She landed up with brown/orange stains streaked down one side of her dress from walking down the aisle with our dad. Nightmare!

It was a loaded working day too but joy of joys, in the evening I had a gin party in a friends garden as a farewell get-together for an Oak Hill College friend. She and her family are moving up to Loughborough very soon. It was a delight to be invited and included and it was a lovely evening. And the gins were well loaded too!
