Mallard Duckling
I am spending more time at my local park lately in an attempt to get a few decent images of the newest members of the river flock there. These birds are really tough to photograph because they always seem to be moving, and my camera tends to focus on the grass rather than the small ducks. This little duckling is taking on the coloration of a hybrid bibbed Mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos) as it gets older.
