Supermoon
July’s full moon is being called the biggest and brightest supermoon of the year, so of course, I had to get a picture of it. The moon reached its closest point to the earth for 2022 on July 13 at 5:00am EDT, with a distance of 221,994 miles (357,264 kilometers) away from our planet. This handheld image of the full moon with 100% illumination was created on July 13, 2022 at 11:30pm EDT.
