Leaving Skopelos

The advantage of having a late evening flight home was that we were able to make the most of the day, taking another stroll around the old town in the morning and enjoying the view in extras from a cafe halfway up the town.

We caught the ferry back to Skiathos early afternoon, in time for a leisurely late lunch in a harbourside taverna at the port before being picked up for the airport.

The main blip was taken from the ferry as we left Skopelos.

The disadvantage was that our flight was delayed again so we didn’t get home until 2.30 in the morning, having been up for 21 hours!
