Down at the allotment at about 9.30 to give everything a good drink.
At Fareshare we split into two teams - two people picking in the chiller room, and two outside in the ambient area. Normally we’d be in and out between the two all the time, as every order has food from both sections. This was to reduce the door opening to the absolute minimum. Clearly the manager was feeling really worried that the chiller machinery would break down. It was ok when I left, we all took her concern very seriously. This heat on an aluminium warehouse roof is just too much.
