Waiting

Most of the day we were waiting for news on our motorhome.  An incorrect part had been delivered to the mechanic so the correct one had to be ordered and fitted. Fortunately that happened and we knew late afternoon that all would be well - we can collect our van tomorrow.

We have effectively lost a few days of the holiday so have delayed our return ferry crossing home. We'll be back in Bessie tomorrow!

Today we found plenty to do. A visit to an amazing Cistercian Abbey at Dunbrody plus a beach with interesting rocks and watching the encroaching tide. Then a fascinating harbour at Slade (extra) with an adjacent ruined castle/prison, before we moved on for another view of the lighthouse at Hook from the rocks.  I spent some time here using a combination of ICM and the built-in ND filters in my Olympus - blip + extra. On the way back to our hotel I did have to stop for a ruined church with a graveyard on only one side but also inside it!

A meal out this evening to end our stay in Arthurstown. Tomorrow- westward!!
