Water lily

Hot and humid all day with variable amounts of cloud masking the sun giving a sultry almost thundery feeling which didn’t develop into anything.

Grabbed my blip early as the water lily that we bought last year threw out it’s first flower which deserved to gave its moment of glory. Borage flowers added to the scene.

We have family coming down from Forres of Saturday for the week which meant the third bedroom, such as it is, needed clearing, sorting, dusting and cleaning ready for its young occupant.

There was just time before dinner for a quick visit to the allotment to water the most vulnerable plants. I was surprised to find a frog in the water barrel. How it got there I’ve no idea. I fished it out and set it down in some vegetation.

Very few people at the Marmite Uke jam session nevertheless it was good fun.
