2022 Wednesday — Simply Summer

We have enjoyed two spectacular days in a row here on the coast. When we woke-up this morning, we could see a horizon line on the ocean and that usually is a good indicator that we are not going to be shrouded in fog and today we were not. The clouds have floated over us throughout the day and added to our entertainment.

We had a noon appointment with a builder of decks & fences and he let us know that he would be about a half-hour early; that was good. We discovered him online last week and his website displays some beautiful decks with handrails and many other lovely outdoor living spaces. So we wanted to show him our backyard to ask what some of the possibilities are for our property. He was very knowledgeable and very polite.

So it will be interesting to see what type of ideas he designs/suggests for our yard. We've been dealing with this backyard project for 14+ months now; completing this would be a wonderful accomplishment.

My photo displays both Morro Rock and the PG&E stacks just south of us in the city of Morro Bay. The clouds flirted with the rock all day and occasionally hid it completely.

The second Wednesday of July is now in the history books.
