Pond!

Finished the digging out for the pond, and replanted the Spiky, hopefully it won't die after its night in a plastic garden box!

Pond is currently about one third full of water and the soil is banked up to the same level. We'll finish tomorrow and then landscape properly

I have a statue and that great trunk of driftwood which I think will look better on the other side and the statue can hide under the Spiky.

Aggravatingly B&M were sold out of grey slate so I shall have to look further afield.

There is another lovely bit of driftwood on the beach though so I might see if theMr will rescue it for a good cause.

We're do still have a large pile of soil but I reckon by the time I have sieved out all the weeds and stones and packed it in around the pond there shouldn't be too much left over
