More pond action was planned for today but the weather was not very cooperative so we did a flying visit into Tossco's and then Lidl and home. It rained on us as we parked up so we decided to have a quick recce to the garden centre

They did not have a white buddleia but they did have grey slate chippings which I hadn't managed to get elsewhere earlier in the week.

They also had some very delicious cakes, and they are very dog friendly and supply sausages for their Canine clientele.

I had a meringue as big as my head filled with whipped cream and gorgeous raspberries. TheMr had a strawberry tart.

Then when we got home the sun continued to shine so we got some more soil sieved and around the pond so we're about halfway filled with water and about two thirds buried in the soil.

Also the fountain arrived so that's flung in there to get on with its life!
