British Grand Prix

I bought tickets for the British F1 Grand Prix last September and gave them to the boys at Christmas. Today was finally the day and they set off early to spend the whole day there… and they had a fantastic time. Their seats were great and they went to watch the start, only for there to be an immediate dramatic crash, so they got to watch the restart from their seats. With Verstappen out of the leaders, it made for a much better and more dramatic race. It was great to see Hamilton on the podium for the first time this season - although he couldn’t quite squeeze into second place. Their verdict? Best present ever.

While the boys were busy watching the racing I had colleagues from all over the world arriving for our first face to face meeting in 5 years. So lovely to see them all,
