Woolacombe

The next stop on our tour is Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park in North Devon, where we are staying in a cabin. There is certainly a nice view from the picnic table for dinner. It was hard to see the horizon because the sea looked so silvery. 

We arrived after a long time spent driving on winding country roads after having been stuck in traffic for a good while getting out of Plymouth. So looking forward to getting to our cabin and relaxing. But unfortunately that was not possible as the sun had been heating it up all afternoon and it was like an oven. We also found out that there was no wifi in the cabin, which would have ruled it out on our Airbnb search if listed correctly. We cooled down in the bar area, which had a bit of wifi and tried to ignore the bingo calls. We were booked into this place for two nights but decided to stay just one and try to escape back to the cool north.
