Gooseberries

Nice to wake up at home and finish unpacking. S had her friend from the village come over for a play date, they played nicely together but S struggled a bit with her big 4 year old feelings.
I picked 2kg of red gooseberries in the garden, making a Nigel Slater crumble cake with some and froze the rest. For dinner I made vegetable fried rice with lots of yellow courgette, garlic, red onion and cabbage from the garden.
