No heatwave here

A quiet day, S had some marathon imaginative play sessions whilst I pottered about. Down in the polytunnel we put the strawberries outside and cut off the suckers which had rooted into the pots we laid out. We have about 12 big strawberry plants in pots and managed to get 25 suckers from them. We watched with gruesome fascination as a dragonfly ate a honey bee, you could hear it’s mandibles crunching the bees body -S thought it was amazing. This evening we rode down to the postbox on the bikes and went for a walk on the shore.
