Evening sunset

After an ok day at work, this is what I had to look forward to. Experiencing the pleasure of nature, the total freedom, and absorbing the goodness these simple things bring, is priceless. Unlike my Australian cousins, spending a lot of time on the beach is not commonplace for most of us. By why not make the most of it when we can. That is what we decided after our anniversary beach camp out, and so we are back to it, in the warmer July temperatures. There is a breeze. But our shelter is up, and we have our books and our lights and Jon has just made us up a bed. Not rocks underneath us this time, but pebbly sand. The tide was high at 9pm. It isn't due to be high again until 9am tomorrow, so we have no danger of getting washed away. No storms are predicted, so we can now settle down and enjoy the last bit of sun setting behind the pier ( and a few clouds)

I can't get enough of this. If you haven't camped out on the beach to watch the sun set, or sun rise, then what are you waiting for? I promise, you will not be disappointed:-)
